The developers breaking ground on the ambitious resort venture |
The resort, invested by Indochina Kajima Development Company, is estimated to be completed in two years and covers 60 hectares of land and 35ha of water surface area.
Situated ideally on the coastline between Quy Nhon city of Binh Dinh province and Tuy Hoa city of Phu Yen, Bai Nom, one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the province, is surrounded with green hills and pristine sandy beach with calm and clear sea that fits all type of watersport and recreational activities.
This is the latest luxury tourism project from Indochina Kajima, which committed to invest $1 billion in Vietnam in 2016. The group is a joint venture between Vietnam’s premier high-end real estate development firm Indochina Capital and the largest Japanese overseas real estate developer Kajima Corporation, to launch and carry out new hospitality and real estate development platforms in Vietnam.
The Bai Nom luxury resort project will consist of clutches of pool villas featuring private services and top-notch recreational facilities and entertainment to offer a world-class experience to travellers. The resort has the ambitious aim to become one of the most outstanding hotspots in Asia and place Phu Yen on the world’s luxury tourism map.
The initiative is deemed a perfect marriage of two high-end real estate developers. Indochina Capital is a well-known brand in Vietnam’s premier high-end real estate sector with many iconic luxury projects such as Four Seasons The Nam Hai Hoi An, Hyatt Regency Danang, Montgomerie Links Vietnam, and Six Senses Con Dao.
Meanwhile, Kajima Corporation’s global footprint operates through subsidiaries in four continents. Some of the company’s most impressive real estate projects include the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii, Saint Endréol Resort in Provence of France, Avadina Hills by Anantara in Phuket, Raffles Bali, and the Fairmont Jakarta.
“When we initially envisioned Bai Nom, we thought first of The Nam Hai to create something extraordinary that would make Phu Yen’s coast a premier international leisure destination,” said Peter Ryder, director of Indochina Capital. “When I first saw the Bai Nom site, I was mesmerized: the beach, the water, bordered by the steep cliffs to the north and the rolling hills to the south, just an incredible natural setting with forever uninterrupted panoramic views of the sea and beyond. I knew from that moment that we had found the opportunity to create another hospitality landmark for Vietnam.”
Indochina Kajima has gathered a team of professional and world famous architects and designers to develop projects along with a global leading operator to build up the portfolio of Indochina Capital’s luxury homes and investment properties across Vietnam.
Furthermore, the company is fully committed to creating intelligent and innovative real estate developments that build value for partners, clients, and investors, while providing fulfilling opportunities for employees and enriching the communities in which they operate.
It strives to uphold the strict concepts across all real estate property investments, including environmental responsibility, worker wellbeing, health and safety, social equity and community development, and corporate citizenship among others.
In addition to the investment commitment of $1 billion, Indochina Kajima has also invested in the first international standard hotel brand born in Vietnam, Wink Hotels, with a chain of 20. The first hotel, known as Wink Saigon Center Hotel, officially opened earlier this year.
