The forum is jointly held by the French Agency for International Business Development (UBIFRANCE), French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The two-day forum aims to create favourable conditions to develop partnerships between the two countries’ businesses. Accordingly, companies have opportunities to introduce their performance and discuss how to develop business activities.

The French businesses are able to receive consultations from over 20 specialists in Vietnamese banking, taxation, human resources and intellectual property.

The event, said Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan is part of a series of events to mark the 40th anniversary of Viet Nam-France diplomatic ties to diversify mutual cooperation and help companies expand their markets and business relationships.

Within the forum’s framework, there will be seminars on Viet Nam business environment, consumers and development demand.

So far, almost 20 Vietnamese cities and provinces have established ties with 40 French localities, with about 240 projects having been implemented. France is one of the 15 biggest investors in Ho Chi Minh City.
