PM visits Vietnam Food Pavilion at Food & Hotel Asia 2018

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation on April 26 visited the Food & Hotel Asia 2018 (FHA2018), Asia's most comprehensive international food & hospitality trade event within the framework of his official visit to Singapore from April 25-27.

The event, organized every two years, has attracted the participation of more than 4,000 businesses from 70 nations and territories.

This is the first time Viet Nam has launched the Viet Nam Food Pavilion at the trade event on the area of nearly 200 square meters, introducing products from 14 businesses operating in food production and processing.

In addition, some Vietnamese enterprises operating in fields of services and hotel joined the FHA this year.

Viet Nam gives priority to introducing small and medium-sized enterprises and start-up ones operating in agricultural processing in such areas as coffee, cacao, cashew, fruits, rice and aquatic products.

Earlier the same day, the PM laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh statue in the Asian Civilizations Museum.
