Electric & Power Vietnam 2018 will showcase power engineering technologies |
The event will attract more than 200 exhibitors from 22 countries and territories. Industry leaders and trade organisations from around the region are well-represented, with vendors from India, Germany, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, China, Turkey, and Thailand.
The show presents advanced power engineering technologies, such as monitoring and measurements equipment, renewable energy, energy storage solutions, production and process automation systems, electrical distribution and transmission equipment, and advanced solar technology from popular brands like Rittal, Fuji CAC, Aksa Power Generation, Trinity Touch, and Honeywell among others.
According to the show's organiser, the electrical engineering and power generation sector in Vietnam remains an industry with very high business prospects in light of the country’s robust industrialisation initiative, which has fuelled a surge in demand for energy and electricity over the decade.
Vietnam’s electricity consumption is expected to grow by 10-12 per cent per annum through 2020, primarily attributed to industrial and residential use—which is evident in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi’s expanding industrial parks, commercial developments, high-end residential living, and also from Danang through to Can Tho.
As power demand increases and as the national electricity grid expands, there is a pressing need to improve distribution efficiency through better grid management technologies and hardware.
The return of Electric & Power Vietnam 2018 promises to be a professional and prestigious forum facilitating business cooperation, production investment, and updating on technological innovations with a view to contributing to the development of the Vietnamese power industry.
