Following the success of the Street Food Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, and Hanoi, this year's Coca-Cola Food Fest took place on January 12-13 at Quan Ngua Stadium in Hanoi, in collaboration with Foody, one of the leading local food websites, Kenh 14, an online newspaper for teenagers, and Now.vn.
This year's event saw 34 food stores showcasing about 200 different popular dishes from Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and Korea.
The event attracted lots of guests of all ages from kids and teenagers to adults.
Together with traditional Vietnamese dishes, popular street food from the three other countries was also served.
The street food festival has become a must-go destination for all local as well as international food lovers to experience the specialities of the most famous tourist destinations in Asia.
At the same time, food vendors staged many other interesting entertainment activities including a raffle with a gigantic table of food for the winner or traditional dance performances.
Food stores in the event used 100 per cent paper-based food packaging to spread awareness of environmental protection.
