An Giang province to build airport
The Minister of Transportation has approved an airport construction project with a total investment of more than VND3.4 trillion, in the southern province of An Giang .

Under the adopted plan which covers until 2020, with a vision to 2030, in the first phase from now to 2020, the airport construction will need a total of over VND1.4 trillion.
On a total area of 235ha, the civil airport area will occupy 34.2ha while 31.2ha will be allocated for a military airport area and 169ha for other purposes.
The airport will boast a 3,000 sqm passenger and management terminal and will have an 1,850 metre long runway designed to serve ATR72 aircraft.
