AkzoNobel expands its product catalogue for 2018

Leading paints and coatings company AkzoNobel, which produces the Dulux paint brand, continues to introduce new products that meet the needs of many sectors, including entertainment, health, commerce, and education.

Adding to the list of 64 products in 2016 and the products added in 2017, AkzoNobel’s Dulux Professional brand supplemented its product catalogue with the premium exterior paint Weathershield FlexiMemBrane, Weathershield TR E2000, the Exterior Roadline paint, and the premium interior paint Diamond Refresh and Quick Dry Gloss in 2018.

“At AkzoNobel, we understand that our professional partners are always looking for the best and most comprehensive solutions in terms of products and services for their projects,” said Pamela Phua, general director of AkzoNobel Vietnam. “Therefore, in 2018 AkzoNobel continues to introduce new products in the Dulux Professional product catalogue to Vietnam.”

Weathershield FlexiMemBrane, in particular, can help to prevent and cover up cracks up to two millimetres in width with a thicker and more elastic paint layer. This makes the construction surface clean and beautiful in the long term, protects the paint surface against carbonation, limits concrete weakening, and stops water and mould from attacking the paint surface.

Weathershield TR E2000—a super durable exterior paint powered by TimeResist technology that delivers long lasting protection from colour fading, algae resistance, and dirt retention. A product that drives sustainability benefits with longer maintenance cycle of more than 15 years due to extended product life cycle.

Exterior Roadline paint, which is water-borne, is an environmentally friendly solution that offers durable and long-lasting protection results. It is quick to dry and easy to clean. The breakthrough product in road line paint technology offers a choice of six colours for customers.

The premium interior paint Diamond Refresh, meanwhile, is a breakthrough product in Dulux Professional’s range. It has the ability to purify the air with a formaldehyde gas neutralisation feature and reduces harmful organic gases, which provides a fresher and safer living space to customers.

Dulux Professional Quick Dry Gloss is a water-based innovation specially designed with low Volatile Organic Compound, low odour, and quick drying. It is a 100 per cent water-based acrylic coating with no mercury added. Some special features of Quick Dry Gloss include fast drying, low odour, non-yellowing, and suitability for all types of new and previously painted interior wood and metal surfaces.
