In the morning, the congress continued group discussions examining the personnel list recommended by the 11th Party Central Committee.
In the afternoon, during a plenary session, the Presidium is expected to report on elections, the lists of candidates and supplementary nominees, and those who asked to withdraw from the list of supplementary nominees. The lists will then be approved by the Congress.
The official list will comprise those nominated by the 11th Central Committee and the list of candidates named by delegates attending the 12th National Party Congress or who nominated themselves.
The surplus nominees on the official list must not exceed 30%.
Earlier, the Congress agreed that the 12th Party Central Committee will have 200 members – 180 official members and 20 alternate members.
As of late January 24, there were 90 supplementary nominees for the 12th Party Central Committee, of whom 62 were nominated to official members.
