The AmCham Vietnam ESG Impact Showcase is hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham) in Ho Chi Minh City at its traditional Thanksgiving Dinner to recognise AmCham members who have had a significant impact with their ESG-related activities in Vietnam in 2023.
At the dinner, TTI Vietnam was highlighted among other nine companies who have not only delivered economic success and financial sustainability but also integrated ESG as part of long-term business strategy, contributing to nurturing an ecosystem for responsible business practices in Vietnam.
The recognition solidifies TTI Vietnam's dedicated contribution to the nation's community through its unwavering commitment to ESG principles.

Susan Burns, US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, congratulated the significant contributions that companies in the American business community in Ho Chi Minh City have made to ESG practices.
She noted, “The ESG Impact Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the companies that have made a positive impact in Vietnam and to demonstrate that businesses can thrive by doing good.”

Following Vietnam's commitment to its sustainable development goals, TTI Vietnam has been integrating ESG across its strategy and decision-making process, which has resulted in significant value creation for all stakeholders through its four strategic drivers of powerful brands, innovative products, exceptional people, and operational excellence.
TTI Vietnam’s determination to lead the industry in sustainability stems from a passion for creating breakthrough products that protect people, minimise environmental impacts, and have a positive influence on the communities in which it operates.
In Vietnam, the company places great emphasis on fostering a strategy that prioritises the development of the bond between the environment and the community.
The strategy is in line with TTI's global decarbonisation strategy, backed by the commitment to science-based target initiatives to reach the 60 per cent emissions reduction target for Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

Commencing its operations in Vietnam in August 2018, TTI Vietnam has been an active player in the industry, proven by its flagship brand, Milwaukee, with the Milwaukee Heavy-Duty Centres in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. TTI's commitment to decarbonising its manufacturing operations is exemplified by the current construction of LEED-certified, energy-efficient, state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
In contributing to the community, since 2019, TTI Vietnam has been collaborating with its partner Habitat for Humanity to build WASH facilities to help underprivileged communities in Tien Giang, Kien Giang, and Thai Nguyen.
The 2020-2021 project in Go Cong in Tien Giang province benefitted to 169 households and 500 students, while the 2022-2023 project in Kien Giang and Thai Nguyen is expected to equip 100 families with new houses and WASH facilities while also allowing over 150 students to enjoy new toilets.
Training workshops and communication campaigns under the programmes will help almost 1,580 people to increase their knowledge of building a safe house and safeguarding their families’ hygiene and health.

To educate local talent, TTI has joined forces with AmCham Ho Chi Minh City and Danang for the AmCham Women in Engineering Scholarship programme for two consecutive years to give scholarships to 130 female students at 12 institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, and Dong Nai, allowing them to study and explore STEM subjects and build a better future.
Along the journey, TTI has supported 25 young talents, giving them a chance to bring their startup business ideas to reality at the German Business Association's Business Challenge Competition, Season IV, 2023.
