10,000 students and parents join MILO Erun Walking Day 2022 in Khanh Hoa |
Themed Fueling the Will for A Dynamic Journey, this year's MILO Erun Walking Day aimed to spread the love for sports and inspire children to form a habit of doing exercise every day.
For the first time, the MILO Erun Walking Day was organised in Khanh Hoa by Nestlé MILO in collaboration with the provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the provincial Department of Education and Training, and other local departments.
The MILO Erun Walking Day is one of the activities under the Dynamic Vietnam framework led by Nestlé MILO. Since its inception in 2014, the walking day has been organised across several localities in Vietnam including Bac Giang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
Over the past seven years, it has inspired over 80,000 children nationwide. This year’s event has received support from both local students and parents in Khanh Hoa province.
Nguyen Tuan Thanh, deputy director of the provincial department of Culture and Sports said, “The MILO Erun Walking Day creates a healthy playground for students and encourages them to participate in sports. Nestlé MILO has cooperated with the departments of Khanh Hoa province to successfully run a large-scale outdoor sports festival. The event also contributes to promoting the development of the sports movement as well as the image of Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa."
Nguyen Mai Quoc Bao, a student of Phuoc Tien Primary School said, “I and my friends have been looking forward to MILO Erun Walking Day 2022 for many days. I am a big fan of exercise due to its benefits for physical and mental health. My mind becomes more focused after several days of walking with my parents after school, which also enhances my endurance gradually. The MILK Erun Walking Day is an opportunity for me to meet new friends as well as foster my passion for sports. Despite the short route of two kilometres, I and my friends had an exciting experience.”

Nestlé Vietnam has donated sports equipment and tools to schools across the country, offering means for children to do exercise, stay active, and lead an active life. On the occasion of the MILO Erun Walking Day 2022, the Nestlé MILO brand will continue that journey by donating to the Khanh Hoa Sports Development Fund and the provincial Study Promotion Fund with a total value of over $21,500.
