Tien Minh climbs back into the world top 20

Vietnamese top player Nguyen Tien Minh is back in the world top 20, nudging his way up to the 17th spot in the latest Badminton World Federation rankings with total points of 42,720.

Minh gained his first title in badminton when he was 10 years old. His best ranking was world No. 5, recorded in 2010.

In the world women singles, Vietnamese athlete Vu Thi Trang jumped to 53rd, the highest position she has ever achieved.
