In 2011, an anonymous benefactor bid $2,185 for the Newcastle United jesrsey and regifted it to the Swing for the Kids’ organising committee in 2017 so that it could find a new owner.

Currently, Ryan Giggs is the most decorated player in football history with 13 Premier League gold medals. He holds the key position as Football Director, accompanied by two-time winner of the Champions League Paul Scholes as technical advisor, in the Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talents FC (PVF) under the management of Vingroup.
The starting price of the three auction items is VND50 million ($2,185).
Since 2007 and after 11 tournaments, Swing for the Kids has mobilised over VND14 billion ($611,800), handed over 14,000 scholarships to underprivileged students as well as constructed and equipped learning institutions in 40 cities and provinces across Vietnam.
The charity golf tournament was initially designed as a fundraising event for struggling children and young adults who strive for a better life by excelling in education, especially minority children and indigenous youngsters living in remote areas.
