Capitalised at $6.6 million, the new facility will supply 24,000 tonnes of products to be used in detergent industry. The plant will be built for nine months and is expected to start operation in March 2013.

Toyota Tsusho and Formusan Union Chemical have selected the Dinh Vu Industrial Zone because of its strategic location, the availability of reliable utilities, and the best tax incentives applied for economic zone. Especially, 10,000 dead weight tonnage (dwt) and 20,000 dwt jetty equipped with piperack system is developed dedicated for petrochemical clients. Dinh Vu Industrial Zone is proud to host LAS Production Plant of SIC as one of seventh Japanese-invested projects in the industrial zone. The industrial zone has attracted 44 investors with the total investment of $1.74billion so far. In the first five months of 2012, the industrial zone has attracted three projects from Japan with the total investment of $610million in heavy and petrochemical industry.
After achieving the development of its first phase of 164 ha, Dinh Vu Industrial Zone is currently developing and marketing its second phase of 377 ha. The waste water treatment plant of capacity of treatment for 2,500 cubic metres per day was put into operation in March. The company is now focusing on sand filling and infrastructure development for Bridgestone Vietnam for hand over for its inauguration in July.
