Consulting company RECOF Vietnam is hosting the Global M&A Partners (GMAP) conference on November 13 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event, to be held in Vietnam for the first time, is a global partnership of 30 merger and acquisition (M&A) corporations covering 50 countries and areas throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
This conference aims to serve as a valuable platform to showcase and facilitate investment opportunities in Vietnam for M&A professionals.
The execution of cross-border M&A deals involving different countries is a pillar of GMAP’s strategy. In the last 12 months, more than 20 such deals were concluded between partners in a variety of locations worldwide.
Over the years, Vietnam has successfully attracted investments from various Asian countries. However, there has been a noticeable absence of investments from Europe and from the Americas.
The event aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Vietnam’s market dynamics and foster deeper communication between RECOF and its global partners, thereby attracting investments from a wider range of countries within the partnership network.
Through the conference, RECOF Vietnam endeavours to act as a crucial bridge, connecting GMAP’s M&A professionals and investors with new opportunities and markets in Vietnam.
The conference will feature insightful presentations, discussions, and networking sessions, enabling participants to gain valuable insights into the investment landscape, regulatory frameworks, and emerging sectors in Vietnam.
Moreover, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in fruitful discussions with industry experts, government officials, and prominent business leaders.
“We are excited to host the GMAP conference and provide a platform for international investors to explore the untapped potential of Vietnam,” said Masataka “Sam” Yoshida, head of the Cross-border Division of RECOF Corporation.
“Through this conference, we aim to foster stronger partnerships and encourage a diverse range of investments from our esteemed GMAP M&A professionals, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of Vietnam’s economy.”
