The event was part of the former Liverpool striker’s two-day trip to Vietnam to promote the image of Liverpool FC in Vietnam. The 39-year-old footballer met with local fans and media, and joined a friendly on the campus of RMIT University Vietnam in District 7.

At the ceremony, Jonathan Kane from Liverpool FC said he expects to search for and educate local talent at a football institute in Vietnam in the future.

Through the partnership with Liverpool FC, the brand Love’in Farm KUN wants to raise the awareness among local children of physical training and milk drinking to improve their height and strength. The two partners will have long-term cooperation to provide training programs for children and football talent.

Fowler scored 183 goals in total for Liverpool, with 128 of them scored in the Premier League. He was capped for England 26 times, scoring seven goals and included in England’s squads for Euro 96, Euro 2000 and the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
