LG Electronics (LG) recently announced its home theatre systems achieved first place in various product reviews conducted by several top-flight European publications, further proof of LG’s leadership in the field of audio visual (AV) products.
“Our products ranked No. 1 in comparative evaluations conducted by some of Europe’s most authoritative magazines,” said vice president of Marketing Communications at the LG Home Entertainment Company Kwan-sup Lee. “Through sustained, vigorous efforts in the development of products that meet and exceed consumer expectations, we are quite optimistic of our ability to lead the European AV market.”
In its November issue, internationally renowned home entertainment magazine What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision gave a perfect five stars to LG’s HX976TZW, a cinema 3D home theatre system.
With such a rating, the HX976TZW was named the best 2011 cinema system in the over £500 price category.
The HX976TZW was lauded for its design, sound and picture qualities as well as its user convenience.
In its December issue, the magazine tested and compared the HX976TZW with other home theatre systems from Panasonic, Samsung and Sony. LG’s HX976TZW was declared the winner with a perfect five-star rating.
Two European consumer magazines also gave LG home theatre systems high ratings. Rad & Ron, a well-known Swedish consumer magazine, ranked LG’s HX46R and HLX56S No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in its December issue which compared the two LG products against other 2.1-inch cinema systems from Panasonic, Samsung, Pioneer and Sony.
Meanwhile, the December issue of Consumentengids, a Dutch consumer magazine, saw LG’s HX751 and HX721 ranked No. 1 in the 5.1-channel and 2.1-channel cinema systems categories, respectively.
LG’s Blu-ray players have also been recognised for their excellence. In the December issue of Que Choisir, a magazine issued by France’s Federal Union of Consumers, LG’s BD660 ranked No. 1 amongst Blu-ray players from a total of eight companies. The magazine praised the BD660 as an all-inclusive product which includes 3D function and wide content access. The magazine also ranked LG home theatre systems as No. 1 in both categories of 5.1-channel and 2.1-channel home theatre systems.
