Knauf Vietnam introduces the first gypsumboard distributor in the North of Vietnam
This is the second distributor of the company after it opened first one in Can Tho city two months ago.
Knauf Vietnam set up its office in Hanoi early 2014 and currently, the company has completed its presence in Hanoi, Haiphong and Ho Chi Minh City, making the total number of employees to 30.
“We have been here for more than six months and we have gained critical achievements after appointing the first distributor in Mekong Delta region in terms of brand awareness and sales revenue. We have confidence in Duc Nam’s capability and we insure that Duc Nam would fully meet our requirements and help expand our brand awareness and market coverage”, said David Victor Thomas, general director of Knauf Vietnam.
With more than 15 years of experience in gypsumboard and metal profile trading and manufacturing, Duc Nam has been expected to become Knauf’s largest distributor in the North.
“Our distribution network has been strengthened, which was a very critical step in our business strategy to become one of market leaders in this industry,” said Thomas.
Knauf Group was founded in 1932 by the brothers Karl and Dr. Alfons N. Knauf in Iphofen, Germany.
Knauf is a multinational producer of building materials and construction systems that operates more than 220 production plants in over 60 countries with roughly 24,000 employees.
Recently, Knauf has been spreading the market to East Europe and Asia. Knauf Vietnam applied for and gained an investment license in 2013 to build a gypsumboard manufacturing facility in Haiphong, North of Vietnam.
