Enterprises access innovative solutions at VGMF 2025

The Vietnam Global Smart Manufacturing Forum 2025 (VGMF 2025) at the National Convention Centre brought together hundreds of experts, scholars, and businesses from Vietnam, China, Japan, and South Korea, to promote cooperation, innovation, and sustainable development in the manufacturing industry.

The forum was jointly organised by the Vietnam Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises (VAFIE), Sunrise Store Technology Co., Ltd., and Camel Exhibition and Trade Promotion Events Co., Ltd., with support from the Vietnam Automation Association, the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises, the Vietnam Clean Energy Association, and domestic and international organisations.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Prof. Nguyen Mai, chairman of VAFIE, said that in the 2025 socioeconomic development plan, Vietnam aims to achieve growth of 8 per cent or higher, creating momentum for a breakthrough in the following years.

“To achieve this goal, Vietnam is focusing on innovating the growth model based on science and technology, digital transformation, and developing a green and circular economy. Vietnam advocates enhancing competitiveness through innovation, digital transformation, and promoting smart industry development through institutional reform, minimising administrative procedures, and prioritising attracting high-quality, high-tech, and widespread foreign investment,” Mai said.

“This forum is an opportunity for domestic and foreign enterprises to share their visions, connect for cooperation, and exploit the great potential of the Vietnamese market. Vietnam welcomes international investors, especially high-tech enterprises, to seek cooperation opportunities. With a vision of deep integration and a commitment to sustainable development, Vietnam hopes to become a new smart manufacturing centre in the region, where interests are connected, success is shared, and development is accompanied,” he continued.

With the theme “Smart Manufacturing Cooperation - Together Creating the Future of Industry”, the event featured high-tech products, introducing advanced technology solutions serving digital transformation in production.

The forum also included a seminar on industrial chain cooperation, innovation, CEO discussions, and an exhibition introducing smart manufacturing technology.
