The handover took place at the Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Conference 2025 held by Binh Dinh People's Committee on March 28.
A total of 16 projects were awarded investment policy approvals and investment licences with registered capital of about $704 million. Among them, 12 projects in the industrial sector are valued at approximately $485 million. Some notable projects include the first phase of Phy My Industrial Park by Phu My Investment Group JSC (nearly $180 million), and the expanded Hoa Sen Nhon Hoi - Binh Dinh factory by Hoa Sen Group ($93.8 million).
National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) will develop a 500 kV transformer substation and connections in Phu Cat and Tay Son districts (nearly $90 million), while Mascot International A/S Company will invest in a garment factory and a warehouse at Becamex Binh Dinh Industrial Park ($50.8 million).
There are four ventures in the fields of technology, commercial services, and tourism worth $222 million, including a research, production, and training complex ($109.5 million) by FPT Quy Nhon Software, and high-rise apartment buildings by TNT HOMES Quy Nhon (nearly $90 million).
In addition, the People's Committee handed over 37 MoUs to investors. CMC Technology Group is planning a GreenDC data centre and submarine cable landing station ($508.3 million), a renewable energy venture ($508.3 million), an AI city initiative ($508.3 million), and a branch of CMC University ($274 million).
Environmental Landscape Pte. Ltd. received an MoU for a $200 million multi-functional complex, while Hero Future Energies Asia Pte. Ltd. secured an MoU for a $200 million hydrogen production plant. Likewise, Siemens Energy will conduct a feasibility study to develop a $120 million hydrogen factory at Phy My Industrial Park. Another MoU was given to Binh Hung Industrial Infrastructure Investment JSC to construct technical infrastructure for Tay Giang Industrial Park worth $39 million.
There were nine ventures in the service and tourism industries, including a $4.6 billion high-end resort and super yacht at proposed by Lac Viet Palmer Johnson Marine Urban JSC. Blooming Sky Quy Nhon is keen on a $350 million cultural, sports, and recreation area combined with trade, services, and tourism in Phu Cat district, as well as a $4 million flying taxi venture. Meanwhile, Daewon Cantavil HSC also obtained an MoU for a mixed-use residential trade and international tourism complex in Quy Nhon city, with an investment of $200 million.
Binh Dinh has also attracted three projects, including a Canh Vinh logistics centre by Vietnam National Shipping Lines, and Phu My Port by Phu My Investment Group JSC, valued at $203 million and $90 million, respectively.
In addition, T&T Group received an MoU for a $196 million project in the fields of urban economy, logistics, energy, and trade services in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
