Yamaha Motor Vietnam has official launched its “Yamaha – For the Future of Vietnam Football” 2015 programme.

This is a series of sport activities, including the Yamaha 2015’s football festival for U13 students and the Yamaha 2015’s football camp in Hanoi and Nghe An province for U6, U8 and U10 students.

Accordingly at the first Football festival sponsored and organised by Yamaha Motor Vietnam, 96 teams from six cities and provinces have registered to compete in the event, and they take part in regional qualifiers starting from March.

The top two teams from each city will advance to the final round in Hanoi from May 28 to June 3. The winners of the festival will enjoy an exchange tour to Japan, where they will take part in friendly matches against Japanese teams. The aim of the festival is to create a professional playing field for young players to learn about fair-play and respect.

Additionally the “Yamaha Football Summer Camp”, a part of the programme “For the Future of Vietnam’s Football” for child and teenager players will also take place in Hanoi from June 9 – July 12 and in Nghe An province from July 14 to 26, 2015.

The five-week camp, the third of its kind, will equip children, aged from 6 to 10, with football skills, thought for playing football, concerted movements, and living skills which are compiled by former coach of the Japanese football team for Olympic Games Masakuni Yamamoto. As scheduled, 220 football-lovers will be selected for the camp opened for free of charge
