They topped the mixed doubles event, beating Thai rivals 13-6 in the final during the third day of competition.
The first gold medal came from Van Ngoc Tu, who won in the women's 52kg category of kurash, a martial art from Uzbekistan, on Saturday.
Tu gave Siramol Deepudsa of the hosts a methodical beating to win, 1-0, in the first round before beating Chen Chin Ying of Chinese Taipei, 1-0, in the finals.
Last June, Tu, a renowned judo queen in Viet Nam, triumphed in the same event at the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in South Korea.
Earlier last Saturday, Nguyen Thi Xuan won the bronze medal in the women's 50kg category of freestyle beach wrestling.
With two gold, two silver and nine bronze medals, Viet Nam are at eighth place in the medal tally. Thailand, Mongolia and United Arab Emirates are the three top delegations.
