U17 National Football Champs opens in Hue

They have been divided into two groups which Group A consists of Viettel Centre, Dong Thap Rubber Group, Song Lam Nghe An and the host Hue and Group B of defending champion SHB Danang, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, The Vissan Ninh Binh and Dong Tam Long An.
The winners will receive a cash prize of VND100 million, the runners-up VND60 million and the third VND40 million.
In addition, the organizing board will present VND15 million for the most fair play team and VND5 million for the best player.
In group A’s first round Hue played well and defeated Song Lam Nghe An 2-1 while Viettel Centre was held to an 1-1 draw with Dong Thap Rubber Group.
Group B’s two matches between The Vissan Ninh Binh and Dong Tam Long An, and SHB Danang and Hoang Anh Gia Lai are scheduled to take place on July 12.
