In 2010, the two-way trade turnover surged 25 per cent, and the RoK became the second biggest foreign investor in Vietnam, with total investment capital of $23 billion.

The Government chief stressed Vietnam's consistent policy to beef up cooperation with the RoK in all fields for mutual interests, and for the regional peace, stability, and development.

He confirmed that  Vietnam will create favorable conditions for Korean investors in the country, and hoped that the RoK would continue providing ODA for the Southeast Asian country as well as facilitating the flow of Vietnamese  workers to the RoK.

Ambassador Park Suk-hwan said that he would spare no effort to bolster the relationship between Vietnam and the RoK.
