At his meeting with Ms. Ewa Kopacz, PM Dung extended congratulations to his counterpart upon her appointment as the PM of Poland.
PM Dung spoke highly of Poland’s position in Europe and the world, especially after European leaders named the former Polish PM, Donald Tusk, as the next President of the European Council.
The two PMs agreed to conduct the exchange of high-level visits and beef up comprehensive cooperation, particularly in economy, finance and agriculture, between the two countries.
PM Dung asked the Polish side to soon ratify the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) signed between Viet Nam and the EU.
Meeting with Mr. Xavier Bettel, PM Dung also congratulated him upon his new appointment as the new PM of Luxembourg.
The two PMs vowed to strengthen the exchange of high-ranking delegations and boost cooperation in the areas like banking-finance, tourism, green growth among others.
PM Bettel affirmed that his country appreciates ties with Viet Nam and pledges to accelerate the ratification of the PCA and negotiations on the free trade agreement between Viet Nam and the EU.
During their meeting, PM Dung and his Swiss President agreed to step up economic, trade and investment linkages as well as the free trade agreement talks between Viet Nam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
The Swiss President said he expects to visit Viet Nam on the occasion of the launch of his country’s consulate general in Ho Chi Minh City.
Earlier on Octber 16, PM Dung and Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban discussed measures to consolidate the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
