A customer trying Reddi's service |
The opening ceremony was organised at Intercontinental Landmark 72 with the attendance of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC), the State Bank of Vietnam, VNPT, Viettel, MobiFone, and other strategic partners of Reddi.
Through the event, Reddi officially became the newest Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in Vietnam. Spotting and taking advantage of the new trends in telecommunications such as 5G, IoT, e-sim, and mobile money, Reddi targets evolving and providing telecommunications solutions and digital services for young customers through its mobile applications that heighten the freedom in experience and personalisation for consumers.
With the principle of maximally benefiting customers by its services, Reddi commits not to issue “rubbish” sims that has been a common issue among operators for a long time and will only deal with genuine subscribers.
As soon as finishing the ceremony, customers could download the Reddi application to try the service.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Phong Nha, deputy head of the Department of Telecommunications at the MIC, set a high value on Reddi’s approach to developing telecommunications and digital services. At the same time, the ministry has great expectations for the development of MVNOs in Vietnam.
Huynh Quang Liem, deputy general director of VNPT – a strategic partner of Reddi – said that accelerating partnerships with MVNOs is part of the group’s development strategies to adapt to the new technology wave and will help VNPT to diversify services and enhance investment and business efficiency.
