Late last week, Mercedes-Benz continued to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of its first motor car with a two-day event aimed at the company’s corporate customers, loyal customers and partners.
Titled “125 years of innovation fest”, the largest fleet customer gathering of the year was highlighted by an event at the InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel on August 19 in the exciting mood of German Oktoberfest.
The next day, Mercedes-Benz hosted the colorful summer festival with special factory tours, test-drives and passenger rides on GLKs climbing over the hill at Mercedes-Benz Vietnam factory in Ho Chi Minh City’s Go Vap district, as well as entertainment for kids and young people, Mercedes GT5 racing simulation preview for VIPs, a beauty salon for ladies and service consultancy, to highlight the impressive history of the brand together with customers.

Corporate owners also have opportunities to have their cars lovingly cared for with comprehensive service solutions including round-the-clock emergency services, genuine part installment, full warranty policy, maintenance package and courtesy cars as well as nationwide sales and a Mercedes-Benz service network from Mekong Delta to northern cities.
Mercedes-Benz also gives special offers to all customers buying its cars from now until September 30, 2011 - supported 5 per cent registration fee for GLK and similarly 10 per cent for sport cars (E-Coupe, SLK and CLS).
Mercedes-Benz achieved in the year’s first seven months a total sales volume of 1,500 units, in which the passenger car segment obtained 1,110 units, a year-on-year increase of 25 per cent.
Besides targeting individual customers, Mercedes-Benz has been very successful with its business fleet in Vietnam. At the moment more than 80 per cent five-star hotels and resorts are using Mercedes-Benz luxury fleet for their high class transportation service. They are the InterContinental Asiana Saigon, InterContinental Westlake Hanoi, Park Hyatt Caravelle, Sofitel Saigon, New World Saigon, Windsor, Hotel De I’Opera Hanoi, VinPearl Luxury Nha Trang, VinPearl Luxury Danang and Palm Garden Resort.
