The event will promote Vietnamese flower growers and provide a splash of beautiful colour to the people of Hanoi and the surrounding areas during the darker winter weather.
The scheme is being run with the cooperation of Thong Nhat Park Co., Ltd., the Dalat Flower Association; the Hanoi Communications Association, and Quoc Thai Investment Services Co., Ltd, along with several other businesses and local artisans and gardeners.
The flowers can be seen at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi and on Thong Nhat Island, various Vietnamese flower regions will be recreated, from Tan Quy Dong flower village in Sa Dec, to the Hydrangea Garden in Dalat.
This year is the 65th anniversary of the construction of Thong Nhat Park, and the organising committee has respectfully introduced some nostalgic images of the park. Moving to Coconut Island, you will enter another sweet and romantic space, the Fairy Garden, where Little Red Riding Hood freely picks mushrooms with Cinderella on the pumpkin carriage and Snow White tastes wine from seven small glasses.
All the trees on the island are decorated in a resplendent Christmas theme, and children will be fascinated by the Giant Diamond cluster and the colourful clouds in a corner of the island, along with the fresh flower rafts on Bay Mau Lake.
Connecting the two islands is a service area, with a European weekend market vibe. Visitors can stop at the food stalls or visit the costume rental stalls or use the face-painting services, take unique pictures, or order flower products from reputable, selected gardeners for their family to welcome the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Visitors can also spend time touring around the park on the picturesque train, visiting the Tran Nhan Tong flower garden or the attractive Mirror House. The park is suitable for group activities with its wide open spaces with many old trees and green grass.
During the festival, open street art and entertainment programmes will be taking place, welcoming public participation. On Opening Day and Christmas and New Year weekends, attendees will be able to participate in a flower-themed balloon release event.
