Participants of 15 countries and 20 provinces and cities of Vietnam attended at the festival, which included trade and tourism promotion activities and thematic seminars, creating opportunities for Ho Chi Minh City, localities, and domestic and international businesses to exchange, share experiences, and find partners.
At the same time, it enhanced the value and image of Vietnamese ginseng, especially renowned Ngoc Linh ginseng, to the world.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said that the festival was an opportunity for localities and businesses to exchange ideas and promote ginseng, aromatic products, and medicinal herbs, contributing to boosting trade, investment, and tourism.

The most prominent highlight of the festival was the "Ginseng Forest" arranged by VinGin JSC. 400 valuable ginseng plants from 2–15 years old were transported to Ho Chi Minh City for display in a 200 sq.m space.
