Resdients of Danang can once again go swimming on the beach from June 9 |
On the evening of June 8, Danang People's Committee Deputy Chairman Le Quang Nam signed a document allowing some services to resume operation, after a temporary stop to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, from June 9, shops, restaurants, and eateries are allowed to serve customers on-site. However, they can only accommodate customers up to 50 per cent of the establishment's capacity. The services are allowed to open until 21:00pm.
Besides, the owners and people working at the restaurants and eateries have to be tested for COVID-19 according to the plan of Danang People's Committee. At the same time, restaurants and eateries must sign a commitment with the local authority on strictly complying with regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control as one of the conditions for reopening.
In addition, Danang also lifted the ban on swimming but there are some restrictions for specific services likeshowering before swimming.Meanwhile, people can only swim from 4:30 to 7:30am and from 4:30pm to 6:30pm each day.
Additionally, people are asked to swim only in the permitted areas and leave immediately after swimming. Also, people are still not allowed to gather in large numbers on the beach to play sports or eat and drink. They will also need to keep a distance of at least a metre from each other while wearing masks before and after swimming.
Plus, the central also allows barbershops and beauty salons to give haircuts, as well as give permission to outdoor and non-contact sports activities such as tennis, badminton, and table tennis to reopen with the stipulation that these activities observe COVID-19 prevention measures.
