In addition, 200 staff members and agents joined in the ceremony at the company’s headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City on January 11.
Dubbed the ‘Heart in Action’ campaign, blood donation has been strongly encouraged by Dai-ichi Life Vietnam since the company’s foundation in 2007. This initiative has been warmly received by the company’s staff, agents, customers, partners and the community.
The company’s deputy general director Tran Dinh Quan said, “Blood donation is a noble action which each person can contribute directly to society, expressing our love and responsibility to our lives. We expect the programme will receive greater attention and support from customers, staff, agencies, partners and friends from around the country.”
Besides blood donation, over the past four years, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has launched and taken part in many other social activities to bring benefits to society and the community, such as ‘Bring Sight to the Poor Blind’, ‘Scholarship Donation to Needy Pupils’, and ‘Accompanying Environmental Protection’ with a firm commitment to being a strong lifetime partner of Vietnamese society.
Dai-ichi Life Vietnam was established in January 2007. One year later, the company was approved by the Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance to raise its investments from $25 million to $72 million to become one of largest foreign-invested life insurance firms in Vietnam. Dai-ichi Life Vietnam currently provides services to over half a million Vietnamese clients through more than 14,500 staff and agents and an extensive network of over 50 offices across the country.
