They were selected from 90 nominations, meeting the appraisal council’s five criteria such as the applicability of products and services and its efficiency, technology and quality of products and services, breakthrough innovations, market and support services, the quality of documents and legal assurance.
At the awards ceremony in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said that over the past ten years, Vietnam’s software industry and IT services sector has made great strides in development, with its annual growth rate reaching 25-30 per cent, doubling or even tripling the country’s GDP rate.
He noted that in spite of difficulties, the sector has progressed remarkably, gaining its firm foothold in both local and foreign markets.
Pham Tan Cong, VINASA Vice Chairman and Secretary General, said that this year’s products and services are highly practical as they help address pressing socio-economic issues, including management of hospitals, land and kindergartens.
