This resort, marking the first project in Vietnam for Banyan Tree Group, is located near Lang Co Bay - an area renowned for its pristine coastline, natural scenery and proximity to UNESCO world heritage sites.
“The grand opening of Laguna Lang Co is an important milestone for Banyan Tree, as it is one of our group’s largest developments and inaugural establishment in Vietnam,” said Ho KwonPing, executive chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings.
“With natural beauty and rich historical attractions, central Vietnam is a perfect destination to replicate the success of our flagship integrated resort in Phuket. We are pleased to be the first to unveil this unique destination as a world-class integrated resort featuring premium private properties for ownership for both domestic and international luxury tourism,” he added.
The establishment of Laguna Lang Co is a breakthrough for Chan May Bay’s regional and international reputation and is set to contribute significantly to the overall development of this key central economic zone.
With this major investment and development, Banyan Tree believes Laguna Lang Co is poised to become the leading world-class holiday and premium second home destination in Southeast Asia.
According to Banyan Tree, the first phase of the project represents a $200 million investment funded through the Banyan Tree Indochina Hospitality Fund, the first real estate investment fund established by the group in 2008.
Laguna Lang Co resort echoes the ethos of Laguna Phuket, Banyan Tree’s flagship integrated resort community in southern Thailand, including Banyan Tree and Angsana branded hotels and spas, an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Nick Faldo, private villas and residences available for sale, convention facilities and a plethora of recreational activities.
Banyan Tree Lang Co offers a luxurious retreat inspired by the artistic heritage of Vietnamese dynasties past. The resort features 32 one-bedroom lagoon pool villas and 17 one-bedroom beach pool villas set on the shores of Canh Duong beach.
Banyan Tree’s sister hotel, Angsana Lang Co, is a contemporary getaway featuring 229 stylish suites, 100 of which come equipped with their own private pools. All suites in every room category feature picturesque mountain, lagoon, or sea views, and incorporate local-inspired décor. Two spas highlight Banyan Tree and Angsana’s award-winning treatments and services, while a water sports centre provides opportunities to explore the vibrant waters of the East Sea. Both resorts are easily accessible within a 60-minute car ride from Danang International airport.
