TH Group held the ground-breaking ceremony of its new juice factory in Nghe An |
On August 1, 2017, the group commenced the construction of a VND1.177 trillion ($53.5 million) plant to produce pure water, herbal water, and juice in the central province of Nghe An’s Nghia Son district.
Invested by BAC A BANK, this project covers nearly 12 hectares of land and will be built within three years in two stages.
The first products will be marketed by late 2019 via markets, stores, supermarkets, and the group’s True Mart stores.
Using state-of-the-art and environmental-friendly technologies manufactured by Krones Group from Germany, the plant will produce 600,000 litres of pure water per day, and 36,000 bottles of juice per hour. This plant will be the most modern and have the biggest capacity in Vietnam’s central region.
The plant will source water from Nui Tien (Fairy Mountain) area of the province’s Nghia Dan district, from a depth of more than 100 metres. The water quality has been recognised as of exceptional quality by the Ministry of Health.
Since 2009, TH Group has also been operating a $1.2-billion, 37,000-hectare hi-tech concentrated dairy and fresh milk production project in the central province of Nghe An’s Nghia Dan district.
In addition to agricultural projects, TH has also been focusing on developing many other types of projects, including the areas of education and training, herbs, and safe vegetables.
