The projects have to wait until the Hanoi’s general planning is adopted by the government this month and the Hanoi Planning and Architecture Department completes the capital’s zoning plan.
Among the 16 projects part of the 244 planning and construction projects the prime minister had accepted in principle for going-ahead there were some properties which have drawn investors’ particular attention.
Hanoi authorities have urged the Ministry of Construction to present principles and zoning orientations in specific areas, paving the way for the city’s relevant organisations to work on the capital’s zoning plan and quicken projects’ implementation.
The city’s management also urged the ministry to soon approve the general planning alongside 30 kilometre long Thang Long Avenue.
Besides halting aforesaid projects, the Hanoi Planning and Architecture Department had urged other 75 projects to adjust planning for further construction.
There were many reasons why these 75 projects, two-thirds of them were properties, were asked to amend.
For example, the Nam Cuong Group’s Duong Noi Ha Dong new urban area and Toan Cau Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company’s TSQ Galaxy Van Phuc new urban area were requested to make their planning compliant with the state green belt management regulations.
The Tuan Quynh Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company’s Tan Tay Do new urban area was required to add social infrastructure such a school and kindergarten into planning, while the DIA Ha Tay Investment Development Company Limited’s Dan Phuong top-end eco urban area was asked to link its technical infrastructure with belt road 4.
Hanoi People’s Committee’s workgroup recently surveyed the progress of 398 projects covering a total area of around 42,000 hectares which are not using state capital in the city’s 20 district and town areas.
