Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung highlighted the Vietnamese government’s viewpoint to create favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from Thailand, to expand cooperation and investment in the country, at a reception for President of Thailand’s Amata Group Vikrom Kromadit in Ha Noi on November 3.

The strategic partnership between the two countries is growing finely in all fields, particularly economics, trade and investment, the deputy PM said, stressing the significant role of businesses in deepening bilateral relations through investment projects and trade exchange.

He spoke highly of Amata’s scientific, basic and effective investment in Viet Nam from early times (the 1990s), which he said has contributed significantly to strengthening bilateral strategic partnership.

Deputy PM Dung called on Amata, with its abundant experience, to contribute more effectively to the fields of construction and development of industrial zones and high-tech areas in Viet Nam.

For his part, Vikrom Kromadit thanked the Vietnamese government for creating favorable conditions for his Amata Group to do effective business in the country over the past two decades.

Amata’s success in Viet Nam not only generates profits for the firm but also contributes to promoting local socio-economic development and improving the lives of local people, he said, adding that the group is planning to build smart cities and high-tech industrial zones in Viet Nam in the future.

Kromadit praised the Vietnamese government’s efforts to create an open and equal business environment between domestic and foreign enterprises, expressing his support for Viet Nam’s recent policies to boost investment attraction and production development.

He recommended to the deputy PM some measures to accelerate the implementation of projects and effectively attract investment from Thailand in particular and foreign countries as a whole into Viet Nam.
