Talk show to discuss solutions on reducing plastics in retail and services

The talk show on Plastic Reduction Initiatives in Retail & Services will take place from 3 to 4.30pm on June 22, with the participation of experts from the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment and representatives of leading enterprises in Vietnam.

Aiming at sustainable development and a greener world, businesses in different sectors – including in retail and services – have implemented a series of zero-waste campaigns.
In order to better appreciate the contributions of these businesses in promoting sustainable growth and green consumption, Vietnam Investment Review hosts the talk show Plastic Reduction Initiatives in Retail & Services.
The programme is part of a series of events on sustainable development held annually by VIR with the aim of honouring businesses that have made positive contributions to establishing a sustainable living environment.
The talk show will see the participation of:
- Assoc Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tho - General director of the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment
- Patricia Marques - General manager, Starbucks Vietnam
- Jinwoo Song - CEO, BAEMIN Vietnam
- Nguyen Bang Lang - In charge the Sustainable Development function, AEON Vietnam
The programme will be live-streamed from 3pm on June 22 on VIR’s website, Fanpage Facebook, and YouTube channel, including on vir.com.vn, baodautu.vn, and tinnhanhchungkhoan.vn.
