The actress is known in Vietnam for her roles in several dramas, including Terms Of Endearment, Witch Yoo Hee, Bad Guy and Moon Embracing the Sun.
Kim Ji Hoon, director of the 2012 disaster film “The Tower,” will also take part in the trip. The two will be judges and award the winners from the class at a screening on July 11 at Parkson Paragon in District 7. One day earlier, the director will teach a lesson to the program’s participants at the Saigon International Film School in Binh Thanh District.
The Toto Filmmaking Class, which is in its second year in Vietnam, is taking place in the southern city from July 5 to 11. This year, it has attracted 69 local and international high school students living in the city.
Local director Ngo Quang Hai and actress Mi Du are also the class’s honor judges.
Established in South Korea in 2008, the Toto class offers chances for young students to learn the filmmaking process and make their own artwork. In Vietnam, it was held by the South Korean multiplex cinema corporation CJ CGV and MegaStar.
Last year, the program gathered 42 students aged 11 to 13 from six high schools around the city.
