ASL Law receives award for best M&A advisor 2023-2024

In 2023-2024, ASL LAW successfully advised on numerous M&A deals, maintaining its position as outstanding M&A advisor for the fourth consecutive year.

At the 16^th M&A Vietnam Forum organised by Vietnam Investment Review under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning and Investment on November 27, ASL LAW was honoured to receive the award for outstanding M&A advisor for the period of 2023-2024, along with 15 other advisory firms.

This also marks the fourth consecutive time the company has been honoured in this category, highlighting ASL Law's efforts in providing strategic advice that brings value to the business community, especially foreign enterprises seeking opportunities for development in the Vietnamese market.

Pham Duy Khuong, managing partner of ASL LAW stated that the Vietnamese M&A market was considered a delicacy in the eyes of foreign investors. However, their needs have become more diverse with increasingly higher requirements.

"The sectors that foreign investors are currently prioritising include industrial real estate, IT, factories, warehouses, and ports," Khuong said. "These are also sectors that require thorough legal due diligence. Careful examination during the due diligence process will be a crucial factor in determining the success of an M&A deal."
