In addition, Manulife Vietnam and Sacombank have cooperated to distribute life insurance products via banks and develop loan and deposit products to provide more benefits and utilities to customers.

Also under this MoU,  Manulife Vietnam customers and employees will be offered consumer loans, home loans and car loans at Sacombank with preferential interest rate and loan terms.

The agreement also covers direct deposit of salaries for employees and commissions for agents into their accounts at Sacombank.

Operating in Vietnam since June 1999, Manulife Vietnam – the first 100 per cent foreign-owned life insurance company licensed in Vietnam – provides financial services to nearly 300,000 customers through a network of nearly 12,000 professionally qualified agents.

Manulife Vietnam has also diversified the distribution channel by cooperating with banking partners to implement the bancassurance operation to meet the increasing demands of the market.
