“Growth in goods handling enabled the port to make net revenue of VND365 billion($15.87 million), up 49 per cent against the same period last year,” said a representative of the port.
In the second quarter, the port made a net revenue of VND226 billion ($9.83 million), doubling its performance on-year.
The port is currently boosting new services and routes to maintain growth during the pandemic.
In 2021, the port set a revenue target of over VND886 billion ($38.52 million) with pre-tax profit of VND160 billion ($6.96 million), up 4 and 9 per cent on-year, respectively. The company claims the targets are viable as sea trade is on the rise and is projected to grow further in the months to come.
