With the goal of bringing added value to the packaging community, Informa Markets is collaborating with The Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication to organise a roadshow.
This pre-show seminar is scheduled to take place on September 8 at Duc Hoa Industrial Park in Long An province. The event promises to offer attendees insights into the future of the packaging industry within the practical context of Vietnam, and will be presented by industry-leading experts.
The world is producing twice as much plastic waste as it did two decades ago, with the bulk of it ending up in landfill, incinerated, or finding its way into the environment. Currently, only 9 per cent successfully recycled, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Report 2022.
The growing global population has increased the demand for plastic packaging, meaning that without action, this problem will only intensify further.
