On October 29, Nestlé Vietnam received the award at a ceremony organised by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry. This is the fourth time Nestlé Vietnam has gained this title.

This year, 64 enterprises were honoured for their efforts to improve their working environment, care for their staff, and build a healthy corporate culture with a focus on sustainable development.

As the world's largest food company, Nestlé believes in the power of food to enhance the quality of life for everyone. Employees are an essential resource in the quest to realise this shared goal.

Nestlé Vietnam cares for the physical and mental health of its workforce through all its activities, including financially by offering attractive salaries and bonuses. It constantly strives to ensure safety while recognising and rewarding its workforce and improving connections within the organisation.

Another highlight of its human resources policy is that the company has created a flexible and inspiring working environment. Career development opportunities are built based on each individual's strengths, with policies to nurture and unlock their potential and empower young people.

Nestlé Vietnam promotes a culture of experimentation and creativity for all employees, encouraging them to go beyond their limits. The company has organised coaching, mentoring, and in-depth training programmes, along with departmental rotation plans and overseas working opportunities.

Employees have the chance to climb the corporate ladder regardless of seniority or rank. To date, Nestlé Vietnam has invested more than VND20 billion ($844,000) in training activities both domestically and internationally to improve the professional qualifications and skills of its personnel.

Sustainable development is always a top priority for the company, and it is committed to contributing to a healthier future for people and the planet. Therefore, employees are inspired to create shared value that has a positive impact on the community and the environment.

They have engaged in the initiatives being implemented by Nestlé Vietnam on the prevention of and adaptation to climate change, sustainable packaging, responsible purchasing, and water management.

Nestlé Vietnam also makes a commitment to developing the younger generation, providing the Vietnamese youth with job opportunities, as well as the necessary skills to develop themselves in future workplaces.

Through the global initiative Nestlé Needs Youth, the company carries out many programmes to create job opportunities by recruiting recent university graduates for both permanent and seasonal positions and organising training, internships, and career orientation programmes, including job fairs, mentoring, and career consultations.

Over the first nine months of 2023, these programmes have supported more than 26,200 young people under the age of 30.

Nestlé Vietnam has been ranked in Top 3 on the list of the 100 best places to work in Vietnam for five consecutive years (2018-2022). Conducted by Anphabe and independently verified by market research company Intage, the ranking is based on the survey results of more than 57,000 employees nationwide.

Established in Vietnam in 1995, Nestlé Vietnam currently operates four factories and two distribution centres in Dong Nai and Hung Yen provinces, employing more than 2,300 staff and creating indirect jobs for over 10,000 more across its supply chain.
