Krungsri organised its flagship event, the Krungsri ASEAN LINK Forum, under the theme ‘GO ASEAN with Krungsri' on September 17. Continuing its journey to become a leading regional bank, Krungsri said it will leverage its ASEAN-wide network to help business clients seize opportunities and expand growth. The forum effectively showcased Krungsri ASEAN LINK’s expertise and capabilities in cross-border business advisory.
At the forum, Krungsri offered in-depth insights into business trends and consumer behaviour in ASEAN, highlighting the opportunities and challenges ahead. The event featured distinguished speakers, including representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as partner banks across ASEAN. They shared their perspectives and intelligence and provided valuable insights for expanding business into Vietnam, the rising star of ASEAN.
On this occasion, Krungsri and Japanese parent firm Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) signed an MoU with three partner banks: VietinBank in Vietnam, Bank Danamon in Indonesia, and Security Bank in the Philippines. This MoU facilitates coordination across various areas to support Thai customers looking to expand their businesses into other ASEAN countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.
