Miki House, a Japanese brand of children's clothing, officially set foot in Vietnam |
Located at Akuruhi trade centre in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1, the store offers a variety of high-quality childrenswear from 0 to 6 years. Senda Hiroshi, international business manager of Miki House, said Vietnam's high-income class has a strong preference for Japanese brands. Many Vietnamese tourists to Japan have shopped at Miki House's outlets. After five years of market research, the kidswear brand decided to penetrate Vietnam's fast-growing market.
He added that Miki House has tied up with its exclusive distributor Vi Bien – Akuhushi Trading and Service Co., Ltd. to expand its presence in Vietnam. The local distributor has been selling "Made in Japan" products to a large number of Japanese and Vietnamese customers for 20 years now.
If the first store is successful, Miki House is planning to open two more stores in Ho Chi Minh City and expand its chain in Hanoi and Danang.
Established in Japan in 1971, kidswear brand Miki House puts children’s needs firmly at the heart of everything they do. Designed to be soft, safe, and comfortable, their beautiful collections are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from their carefully sourced fabrics and ergonomic footwear to their zero-twist yarns and thoughtful stitching.
