CPA Australia hosts second Career Expo in Vietnam

CPA Australia’s second Career Expo attracted thousands of students, graduates and young professionals to meet with more than 50 well-established employers and leading universities in accounting and finance.

The highlight of the 2016 Expos were the keynote presentations by Alex Malley, chief executive of CPA Australia and author of the best-selling professional mentoring book, The Naked CEO, which has been translated into Vietnamese and has been officially launched at Ho Chi Minh Book Street and at Career Expo.

Career Expo 2016 offered students, graduates and young professionals the opportunity to meet with the top employers in finance, banking, accounting & auditing.

Other interactive features of the Expo, including a career workshop, panel discussions by top industry experts and CV consultations that aimed to provide the students with advice about a career based on professional finance and accounting skills, were also fully and engagingly attended by the participants.

Alex Malley, Chief Executive, CPA Australia and author of the best-selling professional mentoring book, The Naked CEO is sharing with a student the importance of dreaming big and living a big life.

“CPA Australia Career Expo has offered a valuable chance for students in finance, accounting and auditing like us to be exposed to the leading employers in these industries and to learn about the future career development opportunities. Meeting with representatives from the companies has helped me get to know more about their work environment and culture, the future career, the requirements of knowledge and skills which will help me set a direction towards my career goals,” said Nguyen Tran Minh Hoang, Economics and Finance student from RMIT University. “Besides, thanks to the Career Expo, I understand more about CPA Australia and how this designation can improve our career prospects.”
