On December 18, Schneider Electric signed a co-operation agreement with Citigo. Accordingly, Citigo will become a strategic partners to distribute Schneider Electric’s products.
Vietnam is considered a potential market as urbanisation and digital transformation have changed people’s lives as well as the operations of enterprises.
Besides, in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, establishing information technology platforms is now a critical demand to operate enterprises effectively. Big Data, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) are all debuting to serve people’s demand for digital products in the 4.0 age. Applying these innovations in collaboration with IT and OT (operation technology) to manage enterprises will be the key to success for enterprises.

With deep understanding about the market as well as its creative capacity, Citigo is a good match for Schneider Electric, and will be able to help Schneider to penetrate deeper into the market. According to the agreement, Citigo will be in charge of distributing Schneider Electric's APC-branded products, namely Rack & Accessories System (RAS), UPS System, and Precision Air Conditioning, among others.
Co-operating with Citigo is part of Schneider Electric’s important strategy to reinforce and expand its market share in the north by targeting small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In general, the co-operation will help the two parties better exploit their potential to create products which help to optimise the energy management process and optimise automation processes in developing smart cities.
