BASF and Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Education and Training will celebrate BASF Kids’ Lab 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City from October 29.

The BASF Kids’ Lab is a global programme for children (ages 6-12) to raise interest in chemistry through safe and engaging, hands-on experiments. A Kids’ Lab session includes educator-led instruction, interactive lab experiments with BASF products and takeaway items for each participant.

Kids’ Lab 2012 takes place in five day and expected to lure about 500 kids from five primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City, including school for unlucky kids. This is the second time Kids’ Lab held in Vietnam.

The kids will join in the experiments which help them to know the important role of saving water as well as the effects of ultraviolet and protection measures.

The goal of Kids’ Lab is to foster science literacy by encouraging students to gain a better appreciation and interest in the dynamic world of chemistry.
