2,000 tickets costing from VND2 million ($96) to VND4.2 million ($202) for the concert by South Korean star Lee Min-ho in Hanoi in August have been booked so far.

The number was revealed by the Hanoi-based VDC Entertainment company, the show’s organizer, at a press conference to announce the show on June 26.

Titled “Lee Min-ho - concert in Vietnam - My everything global tour 2013,” the two-hour show will see model, actor and singer Lee Min-ho performing seven songs from his latest album, “My Everything”, and include an exchange with fans.
In explaining the high ticket price, the organizers said they have imported large amounts of equipment for the show. Besides, the high price will also help the organizer avoid losses, since the venue only has around 3,500 seats.

According to VDC Entertainment, the show will cost from VND10 billion ($480,769) to 12 billion ($576,923) for the singer’s payment, as well as travel charges for the South Korean team and light and sound systems.

Born in 1987, Lee Min-ho is known to local audiences for his role in popular TV drama series such as “Boys Over Flowers,” Personal Taste” and “City Hunter.” He is frequently chosen as the most attractive male celebrity in TV commercials for cosmetics brands.

The 26-year-old artist has won many awards, including the Baeksang Arts Awards, Asian Television Awards, Mnet 20's Choice Awards, KBS Drama Awards and the MBC Drama Awards.

“Lee Min-ho - concert in Vietnam - My everything global tour 2013” will take place at Quan Ngua Stadium on August 3.
