At first 1,500 VinFast Fadil cars will join the FastGo ride-hailing fleet |
Yesterday (August 15, 2019), Vingroup and FastGo Vietnam signed the co-operation agreement under which VinFast Fadil and VinFast Lux cars will join the fleets of FastGo, FastCar, and Fast Lux. At first, Vingroup will provide 1,500 VinFast Fadil cars to FastGo and its driver-partners. Then, the conglomerate will send some of the premium models to FastLux.
The agreement between Vingroup and FastGo will promote the strength of each side to develop high-standard, premium ride-hailing services.
FastGo partners will enjoy special assistance in buying VinFast cars.
“This is the first co-operation model in the world between an automotive manufacturer and a startup company to provide a professional distribution channel to customers. We are confident of our vehicles and services,” Nguyen Huu Tuat, founder and chairman of FastGo, said.
Vo Quang Hue, deputy general director of Vingroup, said: “Collaboration with FastGo is a fast way for VinFast cars to reach people. We undertake to provide attractive incentives, dedicated support, and comfort and safety when using VinFast vehicles.”
This agreement will be deployed in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang first, and expand to other cities and provinces later.
In the same sector, in last May, Vingroup established VinBus Transport Service Co., Ltd. to officially set foot in the public transport sector. The company operates as a non-profit organisation in order to contribute to the construction of a civilised and modern public transport system, reducing air and noise pollution for major cities of the country.
It expected that VinBus will provide transportation services from next March, starting in five cities, namely Hanoi, Haiphong, Danang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
