“We hope our local neighbourhood customers will join us to personalize their favourite Starbucks beverage and experience the unique third place between work and home,” said Starbucks Vietnam managing director Patricia Marques at the store launching celebration. It is located at Panorama Building, 216 Tran Van Tra Street in District 7.

The store’s ground floor area focuses on comfortable seating for both work and socializing, and upstairs is an open-air space with a view of the nearby river.

Starbucks opened its first Vietnam store in February 2013 at the five-star New World Saigon. The next four stores are near the first, while the sixth is located on Phan Xich Long, the busiest street in Phu Nhuan district. The Phu My Hung store was chosen based on the township’s iconic reputation and proximity to high-income customers. There are no Starbucks outlets in Hanoi so far.
